Captain Greg Stamper takes you fishing for Snook and Captain Alex Dolinski goes to the near-shore reefs for some fishing variety!  Captain Scott sits down for a chat with Bobby Figueroa formerly of the Beach Boys who now plays with a group known as California Surf Inc. BBQ Competitors from all over Florida and around the U.S will be Smokin’ Ribs, Chicken and  Pork…. vying for bragging rights, huge trophies and cash prizes!

BBQ will be offered for sale, Celebrity Judges will pick the winners and there will be a People’s Choice award determined by the event attendees.

Celebrity Judges for the BBQ Competition will be on hand during the entire event, Bluegrass Music by the Fabulous Bugtussle Ramblers all day long.  40+ Street Vendors, Kettle Corn,  Noshes and Tropical Drinks by Skye’s Restaurant, Italian Goodies from Franchesco’s Deli, Divine Desserts and Lobster Rolls from Truly Scrumptious.

The Santini Fresh Market will be open offering the freshest in local produce, honey, jellies, juices and breads.

 On Thursday, March 3rd, the cropped-Fish-Tale-Marina-Site-Logo.jpgFish Tale Marina will host a candidate forum for the Fort Myers Beach Town Council election in March. The forum will begin at 7:00 pm in the “Propeller Lounge” (Barn #2). Come on out and meet the candidates for Town Council and get informed!

On Wednesday, March 23rd, the Fish Tale Marina’s Ship Store will host a “Ladies Night Out” for our VIP customers. The fun begins at 6:30 pm with hors d’oeuvres, music, raffle prizes and more! As an added bonus, spend $200 and receive a $50 gift card (merchandise only) to be used on your next visit! If you are a Fish-Tale boat storage customer…. look for your invitation soon!

Greater Fort Myers Beach Friends of the Arts Concert Series Continues!

FORT MYERS BEACH, FL (February 5, 2016) In keeping with their goal to promote all forms of art in Fort Myers Beach, the Friends of the Arts concert series continues this winter season. The concerts are sponsored by the not-for-profit arts organization and held at the waterfront staging area on the bay, hosted by Fish-Tale Marina, 7225 Estero Boulevard.
The concerts continue on February 11th with a performance by the Florida Southwestern State College Jazz Ensemble (former…ly the Edison Brass Band). The Jazz Ensemble performs works from all eras and audience members are regularly treated to compositions that range from Dixieland to the Jazz Age; Swing-era favorites to Be-bop; Cool Jazz to Hard Bop and Free Jazz to Fusion.
Concerts will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Ticket prices are $25 per concert. Future concert performances include the Jazz-Matics featuring Lynn Richardson on March 24th and Jo List and Friends on April 7th.
