Do I call ahead to have my boat put in the water?
No, space is limited in the launching area. We ask that you arrive ready to boat and your boat will be placed in the water in a matter of minutes. If your boat is 30′ or larger, we ask that you do call in advance because it takes longer to get your boat out.
How do I have my boat launched?
Go to the launch are deck and the forklift operator will get your boat. We ask that you remain at the deck until the boat has been secured in the launch area. This allows the forklift operators to know where everyone is while he launches your boat.
How do I have my boat engine flushed?
Let the forklift operator know when you are leaving and that you would like a flush service on your boat engine. The requested flush will be billed to your storage account when completed.
Where may I wash my boat?
Due to limited area on dry land, we ask that you use A or B Dock to wash your boat before you bring it to the launch area for removal.
Dolphin Cruise FAQs
How long are the tours?
They are approximately 1.5 hours. We take you for a narrated tour of Estero Bay and you will enjoy a magnificent view the Gulf of Mexico.
Will we see dolphins on this tour?
While it’s very likely that you’ll see dolphins, we cannot give you a 100% guarantee because nature is unpredictable. But rest assured that our captains will do their best to ensure you see the greatest amount of wildlife as possible! We will take you to areas of frequent dolphin activity and alert you as soon as they come into sight.
Is this tour appropriate for all ages?
Our dolphin cruise will bring smiles to the entire family…no matter what the age! Estero Bay is Florida’s first aquatic preserve and one of the only places where you can see dolphins, manatees, and a variety of aquatic birds living in the same water. Plus, our boat has high railings and a non-skid deck that help keep children safe.
What should we bring for our cruise?
As a passenger, you are welcome to bring snacks and beverages on your trip. You may purchase drinks and snacks in our Ship’s Store. We provide a cooler with ice for your convenience. Don’t forget your sunblock. The boat has areas of shade to keep you covered but you will get some sun. Feel free to bring a camera to capture all the memories you will experience.
Where do we park?
The closest parking area is near the Fish-Tale Marina Ship’s Store at 7225 Estero Blvd (look for the bright yellow building). It is directly behind Santini Marina Plaza.
