We're a Clean Marina
The Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Sea Grant and the Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association recognized Fish Tale Marina of Fort Myers Beach as a Clean Marina for its efforts to protect marine resources and promote environmental stewardship. Fish Tale Marina became the 1st Marina of Fort Myers Beach and the 67th in the State of Florida out of over 2000 marinas on August 5, 2003.
What's a Clean Marina?
The Florida Clean Marina Program is a voluntary designation program with a proactive approach to environmental stewardship. Participants receive assistance in implementing Best Management Practices through on-site and distance technical assistance, mentoring by other Clean Marinas and continuing education. To become designated as a Clean Marina, facilities must implement a set of environmental Best Management Practices (BMP) designed to protect Florida’s waterways. These BMP's address critical environmental issues such as sensitive habitat, waste management, storm water control, spill prevention and emergency preparedness. Designated facilities and those facilities seeking designation receive ongoing technical support from the Florida Clean Marina Program and the Clean Boating Partnership.

Fish Tale Marina provides Wet & Dry slip boat storage. Think of the convenience of getting out in the Gulf in only 15 minutes from the dock. Monthly storage includes all your ins and outs and a rinse after use. You will really enjoy the service you get from Homar, Rusty, and Eles, our storage operations team. They make boating easy.

Events
Fish Tale Marina is a community partner with Keep Lee County Beautiful. Every year we host Monofilament Madness, encouraging hundreds of boaters of all kinds to clean up the bay. We support Florida Society for Ethical EcoTourism and provide a venue for the education of students at FGCU.
The Fish Tale Office is home of the Fort Myers Beach Friends of the Arts organization. They support all the arts on Fort Myers Beach and in the surrounding area. Every November they sponsor the Paint the Beach Plein Air Festival presented by the Fort Myers Beach Arts Association. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you can be informed or all these wonderful events.
